My 25th year on Planet Earth

Guess it's the date, 22nd, that always makes me respond "22!" whenever people ask how old am i this year.

but, everytime that lovely number comes from my lips, i can't help but to see 22... 22 running away... since 3 years ago.

25 is a good number too. i believe i would discover its beauty in another 10 years ahead..

so anyway, my family + keeliang went to vivo for a dinner on the 21st mar 2011.

they got me a goldheart pearlie pendant. so princessy!
so anyway, took some photos, and off we went to catch a movie. it was horrible + terrible, all in one show! conclusion: NEVER EVER ask daniel chia to recommed a movie. period.

SO! on the 22nd march 2011, both keeliang and myself were on annual leave from work. that itself was a splendid birthday gift!

We decided to head to sentosa. again. cos i did that exactly 365 days earlier. :)

we had sushi tei for lunch at vivo first. we said grace. a longer one than usual.
(God, bless this food. keep it safe for our consumption. safe from radiation. amen.)

thereafter, we purchased the NOON pass to enter the island via monorail. fast and easy.
so we jumped and jumped ... jumped and jumped... all around the universe...
then. we went to the every kid's dream world... the candies and sweeties store. keeliang went bersek seeing all the chocolates. i went bersek cam-whoring. different interests. :)
as we went down the island, we used our free choice of play from our sentosa island noon pass on the tourist game attractions. keeliang and myself loved the 3d log ride. best out of the three. ranked second was the Desperado shootout game. reason? cause me and keeliang were the TOP SCORERS for the game for that session. and no, there weren't just the 2 of us. there were like at least 20 others in the shooting room. we're just amazing. :) ranked third, the pirates 4d ride.
thereafter, we further explored the island. keeliang just kept commenting "actually singapore is a very very beautiful country hor... it is the best place to live in....." so patriotic... something coming from a msian converted sporean...
we went on to take the chair lift... soaked our feets in the sea... in the sand... in the air...
then it was nightfall. the moon came too fast. happy times flies. so many a times, i cam-whore alot. to capture happy moments together. blogging is a hassel. to me at least. but i do it to remind myself how my minutes and seconds have ticked.

we headed back to vivo for a really meat-iful sumptous dinner at King Louis Restaurant. very value for money. we would definitely return for a 2nd visit in the near future. oh then maybe not on second thought. perhaps after our wedding. we've gotta be more value for calories. :)
after dinner and desserts, we took a beautiful night walk in the cool breeze outside vivo, along the new extension walkway towards sentosa. again, "Singapore really very beautiful hor.. it's really the nicest place to live in!"...

i enjoyed my day very much. till 365 days later, i know that it's only going to get better and better.

Post CNY bluez

after such a long cny break, it has been rather torturous to start work.

but i believe that i will quickly swing into momentum and RUN for my sales! GOD, multiply my multiplication and make me fruitful! My goal is to complete my full year's target by JUNE 2011!

Impossible by myself. but definitely possible with God. so God, take me and take part! :D

and... M6. gotta take it on the 24th feb 2011. and i've got...let's see.... almost the entire book left! i've only begun on chapter 1..aka common sense introduction. it's been quite a while since i have studied/mugged, or even pick up a book and read. needless to say, this m6 book ain't really one with the most interesting contents in this universe. still. i'll do it. and i'll aim to clear in my first attempt!

oh well. thats all folks. basically just wanting to keep on keeping on my habit of blogging! i AM determined. **clap clap**

CNY 2011

So fast, CNY is almost gone in just a blink of an eye...... still remember during last year cny, i had a bee sting and a big fall. hahaha. time really flies. must have been an A380 at least.

This year is the last year for me to collect my ang-baos. hmmm. :(

lesser of one source of income starting next year for me... and an increase of a source for some !

anyway, it is just a "sooner or later" event in my life. this year's harvest have been not too bad. i think it is by far the best i've gotten in my 25 years of existence. GOD is indeed GOOD. The end is surely better than the beginning.

And then, on 2nd day of CNY, the hsbc-ians decided to meet up for a nice meal. to celebrate lisa's promotion to TM! so we went to PS Cafe @ Dempsey road. supposed to meet at 1pm. i woke up at 1230 PM! a luxurious sleep that happens once in a blue moon~~~

anyway, we had good food and good company. it was karaokeing at topone for 3 hrs then. and den, home sweet home for me... and BLOG! so proud of myself to be blogging regularly for the past 1 week!! WHEE~~~

Wedding bands arrival

Alright! We got our wedding bands like a 2-3 weeks back. But i'll still like to blog about it and post up pics of them!!!

Sum it all. I love it! totally.

I'm glad it turned out the way i had imagined it to be. keeliang insisted to keep it with him. for he fears that i'll start wearing them before we are even married!! haahhhaa.

but, i've still managed to convince him that i wouldn't... probably just put it on for a few moments here and then to just... admire it?!

HDB 1st appt

Today was our first HDB appt at 10am.

There were soooo many documents to be signed! As usual, whatever the HDB officer told me to sign, i just did. But, my dear keeliang, being his A.U.D.I.T.O.R. would always screen and read every single line on the document before signing even when the HDB officer has explained what the document is about..... I guess, it is good as well.... surely do not want to blindly sign my life away~~

Anyway, we are really excited about getting the house! The 2nd appt would be on the 14th March 2011. Technically speaking, we would become official owners of the house on the 14th March. Realistically speaking, the owner would pass us the keys sometime in mid may.

I thank God for my mum and dad. they have so much experience in life and i feel much more secure with them helping us to find our very first nest!

Look forward to the process of designing and doing shopping for our new nest! Till then, you guys can come for gatherings!~~ :)

AZ Thanksgiving dinner

Today was our AZ thanksgiving dinner at SMU colour cafe. dunno why is it called colour cafe though. ain't exactly the most colourful cafe ard. but anyway, it was a rather simple night. simple dinner, but a simply heartwarming evening still.

keeliang shared a fantabulous testimony with fantabulous emotions and pronounciation! GOOD JOB DONE!!! *proud of you!*

i saw many people i have not seen for quite a while. and it was a good time to catch up. 2010 has indeed been a very different year in my past 11 years in CHC. BUT, going through the bad times have also made me realize the beauty of the many true goodness in my life. :)
I've set a few goals to work towards in 2011. God, empower, lead and bring me to a BIGGER and BETTER person. I want to reach for my stars! (losing weight and Blogging too!)

I believe that 2011 is a going to be a very special year for me. time really flies, i have just another 8 months 3 weeks and 1 day until my wedding! that's exactly 265 more days to go!!

And CHC we are moving in to SICC in just 48 days!

I am going to start getting used to services on a saturday and a sabbath sunday.. sometimes, change is not just necessary, but change is also good! 2011 shall be a fresh start for many of us! and i believe that the latter will be better and more glorious than the former. i thank God for the former, but i am even more excited for the latter season of my life... just, God, keep me looking FOREVER 21~~
