Finally my last NUS exam paper ended today.
I am free to do what i want now...
And i m soooo excited to SOTing from tmr onwards!

Oishi eating, Crazy Shoppin Dae

today was such a fruitful and satiating day!
janelle is back from her half-way tour around the region finally.
i got her a cute pair of Guess jeans and she got herself a pretty guess tote bag, (as usual)...
She got me a pair of sleek Zara jeans and pretty platforms from pretty fit. and if that was not enough action, we went to meet up with the rest of the Chia family @ IMM Oishi. To dig in and dig out our belated birthday wishes to dearest twin janelle.
Haha. fortunately this time round, i didnt live up to my "always late but still have to wait" reputation. i was 15 mins early! darth Valder and janelle were like soooo shocked! i know, i know, i am a stunner at times. =)
Nonetheless, we ate and ate, definitely lived out the CHIA reputation. Grandpa Yeye still came and told us not to eat the best part of the tempura, so that we could stuff down more food as the crisp of the tempura would quickly fill us up with flour. haha. so cute.
cant wait for the next feasting outing. opps. =P

I had a really precious time today.
Went to celebrate Peipei's 21st bday.
I saw ALOT of ppl that i haven't seen for the past 4 to 5 yrs!
Amazing!
Well, i m really happy though to see them still doing rather well.
Most importantly, i finally met up with 2 out of the 7 sisters. =)
Thankfully it only took us seconds to warm up.
It doesnt feel anywhere near 4-5 yrs. we felt just like yesterday. =)

Beef, Mutton, Chicken, Fish, Prawns!! You name it, we've got it all... what do you expect, CHIA family bbq leh.. always in abundance, never a day of lack.. in food...hahaha.. We had an awesome feast. (i'd better launch my weight-loss programme SOON)

Well, we had a lovely birthday cake too.. for myself, aunt serene, and charlie's angel. =p The cake was the same as the one my cg got for me, but this one is so much better in shape! (Ken, NEVER ride a bike when you've got a cake with you!) i took a picture as evidence on purpose to show you its original form!



Then, darth VALder paraded her brand new mac laptop! (*envy*) i totally loved her webcam and its functions!!



i took a "mirror-reflected" pic. this is how i would look if both sides of my face were to be as symmetrical..
(phew, thank God for imperfections!)
But then of cos, time came for the best part. gift, eh no, love-exchange!





Oh well, you get my point, i got all that i could ask/dream/imagine for; all these beautiful memories that would last with me for always.



no big parties, not much hoo-hahs...
but it's still the best i can ask for...

Yup yup, it was a good day @ my house after cg.
celebrated my birthday. i totally loved the Guess Bag guys.

Yesterday we went to Sakura and makan.
Boy, was Daniel satiated. haha. so did all of us.
These sweet people "sprang me a surprise".
I loved the sumptous food.
I loved the marshmallow cake.
I loved the sweet necklace.
I loved the classy, stylish Guess jacket.
I loved the crazy liberated company.
I loved the special, unforgettable day.
I love these wonderful people; my friends.

21st Birthday

Gosh, i'm 21 now!

How time Flies!
Well, it's been a fantastic week of fun and happy celebrating!
Thanks to all of ya who have made me feel such a princess!
I feel like i've transformed to become a "tai-tai" by all your pampering
and tai-tai endorsed products! Nonetheless, i am contented and very blessed!

I had a minor accident today. The cause?
Self-inflicted clumsiness. =(
I hit my left eye against the sharp edge of my dad's
car door as i entered the passenger seat.
I had a cut on my left eye lid. It was so painful
i blacked out for a moment.
I was so so so scared it would leave a scar.. then i
would have triple-eyelids!
with the blood and swelling, i was horrified, petrified!!
Thank God for the close shave though. Just a few more mm
and i would have hit my eyes instead.
Thank God for my sacrificial and courageous eyelid which
managed to protect and save my dear eyesight from that ordeal.
after which, i so needed to ease myself, distract myself from the constant
bump on my eyelid.. as such, we went to watch Apocalypto. haha.
what a day!~

Love Prevails

CHIA family outing today again~ watched <Just Follow Law>.
We shared many special moments in these few days.
Yeah, we will be strong and fine.
Love grows in times of adversities. yes it really does. =)

After a long chia-family camping trip, we're finally letting our hair down...(literally)
We took so many nice pics, wow, the machine i must say was really high-techy. with rising platform stage and even a blowing fan! Everything was so automatic. man, it must have been ages since i've done such ~kawaii~ stuffs.

i read a note my grandma wrote, back in 1923.
Grandpa kept it in his coat and he showed it once to me.
He said, "Boy you might not understand, but a long, long time ago,
Grandma's daddy didn't like me none, but i loved your grandma so."
We had this crazy plan to meet, and run away together.
Get married in the first town we came to and live forever.
But nailed to the tree where we were supposed to meet instead,
i found this letter and this is what it says.

I'll meet you when my chores are through, i don't know how long i'll be.

i read those words just hours before, my grandma passed away.
In the doorway of the church, where me and grandpa stopped to pray.
i know i've never seen him cry, all my fifteen years.
But as he said these words to her, his eyes filled up with tears...
