Today was our first HDB appt at 10am.
There were soooo many documents to be signed! As usual, whatever the HDB officer told me to sign, i just did. But, my dear keeliang, being his A.U.D.I.T.O.R. would always screen and read every single line on the document before signing even when the HDB officer has explained what the document is about..... I guess, it is good as well.... surely do not want to blindly sign my life away~~
Anyway, we are really excited about getting the house! The 2nd appt would be on the 14th March 2011. Technically speaking, we would become official owners of the house on the 14th March. Realistically speaking, the owner would pass us the keys sometime in mid may.
I thank God for my mum and dad. they have so much experience in life and i feel much more secure with them helping us to find our very first nest!
Look forward to the process of designing and doing shopping for our new nest! Till then, you guys can come for gatherings!~~ :)

AZ Thanksgiving dinner
A shoutout to all my faithful blog readers! actually just the few of you.. ehem! you know urself la ah~ one of my new year resolutions this year is to revive my blog. so do frequent http://www.youareatmyblog.blogspot.com/ and comment ya!! feed my ego~~~ :)
Today was our AZ thanksgiving dinner at SMU colour cafe. dunno why is it called colour cafe though. ain't exactly the most colourful cafe ard. but anyway, it was a rather simple night. simple dinner, but a simply heartwarming evening still.
keeliang shared a fantabulous testimony with fantabulous emotions and pronounciation! GOOD JOB DONE!!! *proud of you!*
i saw many people i have not seen for quite a while. and it was a good time to catch up. 2010 has indeed been a very different year in my past 11 years in CHC. BUT, going through the bad times have also made me realize the beauty of the many true goodness in my life. :)
I've set a few goals to work towards in 2011. God, empower, lead and bring me to a BIGGER and BETTER person. I want to reach for my stars! (losing weight and Blogging too!)
I believe that 2011 is a going to be a very special year for me. time really flies, i have just another 8 months 3 weeks and 1 day until my wedding! that's exactly 265 more days to go!!
And CHC we are moving in to SICC in just 48 days!
I am going to start getting used to services on a saturday and a sabbath sunday.. sometimes, change is not just necessary, but change is also good! 2011 shall be a fresh start for many of us! and i believe that the latter will be better and more glorious than the former. i thank God for the former, but i am even more excited for the latter season of my life... just, God, keep me looking FOREVER 21~~
Anyway, here are some highlights of d day....

10.09.10 the day i said "yes"
i'm back! finally.
looking back, it's already more than a month since the 10th Sept 2010.
the 10th Sept 2010 was a day where keeliang and myself looked forward to! for its a friday without needing to go to work-Hari Raya. DOUBLE TGIF!
Well, the more special reason was it was a day that keeliang pulsated and was super nervous for the entire day!
as usual, we went shopping. keeliang took a snapshot of me shopping. something that i didnt suspect nor think otherwise. so i just went along the flow and posed. :)
Little did i know that he had a motive! he watsapped this pic to his accomplices...
keeliang and i watched a movie afterwards at Marinasquare. think the show was resident evil 4. terrible show. super duper waste of time. -- the reason we went to watch? cause DANIEL said it was going to be a FANtastic show. YAWNS.....
afterwhich, we went to a japanese restuarant for a buffet dinner. was super filling. not too bad, just that there were only 2 waitresses in the entire restaurant! i think it's going to close down soon...
keeliang kept on heading for the gents at this point. he said he took laxatives the night earlier to *detox*. and it was giving him bad runs. i, innocently, as always, took that for real. :P
we took the Spore flyer after dinner. i was shocked at keeliang's generosity to treat me for a ride for no apparent reason. :) Still to be honest, i really didnt suspect a single thing.... i guess the thin air up there made me think a little slower...
Somewhere up in the air then, i asked:
Karen: "so what are we going to do after the ride?"
Keeliang: "Hmmm... my stomach really very uncomfortable, lets just take a cab home."
i touched his tummy and felt "grook grook" grumbles. (little did i know it was cos he was hungry cos he was running to the gents the whole time!)
Karen: "wah, your tummy ache like really very jialat ah. ok, lets go home straight after the ride"
At ground level, keeliang told me to sit at this podium stage thingy while he ran off to the loo.. again...
i took out my iphone to play bejeweled.. then, a roller-blader came up to me, passing me a pink rose, "congrats, this is for you!" and bladed off.
puzzled and confused, i looked ard for keeliang, but he's not ard! i felt paiseh holding the rose alone! how pariah!
then the 2nd , 3rd, 4th rose came.... 5th... 10th... 20th... 24th....
Finally, i saw keeliang walking over w this SUPER big bouquet of pink roses.
i knew the moment was it. there and then.
the usual, the kneeling, the blushing, the speech! and then the RING!
and yes, i said yes. :)
congrats to all who had helped/brainstormed. it was a success. i did not suspect a single bit...
well, to daniel who hid in the toilet the whole time with the big bouquet...
to karenyeo who convinced keeliang not to do proposal at the beach... and yes ur apple candle...
to derrick, for your torch light, video cams and enthusiasm...
to ruxin who was our photographer for the night....
to audrey who helped in the planning...

Cny day 2
We (derrick, Ruxin, Audrey, Daniel, karen yeo and myself) went to PS to watch The movie 大兵小jiang.
Thereafter we went to cartel to chill. I was busily and happily "minding my own business" when I suddenly fell off my chair and sat on the floor.
All I saw were 3 stagnant pairs of legs in front of me. Derrick Ruxin and Audrey. I was in a pure state of shock. So were they bcos it took like 3 seconds before anyone had any reaction. That was only when I saw audrey's legs started to walk towards me.
Hahahahaha!!!! So embarassing!!
Moral of the story: don't play with straw, don't stand talking, don't drink coffee and don't sit at the edge of a chair. (if u dun understand what I m talking about, it's fine. It's better u don't. :P )

Cny day 1
Today is my first vday and cny without Keeliang around. One word to describe it-different. How I wish he can be around. Absence indeed makes the heart grow fonder. :)
Anyway, today I had a big swell on my left arm. I suspected that a bee stung me and left it's sting in my flesh. It became so bad that all my relatives could notice it.
Some of them told me to put ice, some say hot water. Some even said vinegar would do the job. Uncle William was the best though. He said ask grandpa to use a knife to cut open the flesh and pull the sting out.
Of course, I D-I-Yed. I forcefully used a tweezer and pulled it out. Indeed, there was a big brownish sting that came out with a venom sac. so my conclustion is, it is a bee sting~ Ewewws!!
Pain!!!! But shiok to have the thorn out of my flesh. Healing in the name of Jesus!! :)

2010 CNY
This year's cny is fun cos I m going to have a long break BUT it will be bored without Keeliang around!!! He is going back to Malaysia for the entire season and will only be back on Tuesday-when the holidays are all over! So friends, any lobang, call me out okie?!
But I must say that Keeliang has always been very thougtful and sweet! (always say I never praise u in public, now got hor!) no, but seriously, first Keeliang got me a Kate spade wallet and bag for Vday. And today, a bouquet of my favourite flowers, 12 stalks of roses to grandpa house where I am for reunion dinner. So sweet!! Keeliang, faster come back leh!! :)

Say Grace (2nd Dec 2009)
today i went to Comtech (near PSA) for a training course titled "Referral skills and Cross Selling"
Was kena arrowed to go there with my colleagues, so i decided to endure and make full good use of this 9am-6pm training.
Training aint that bad, just that the thought of having to get to Queenstown early in the morning kills. the trainer-Kathy was an australian lady. nice lady with a weird sense of humor.
all went well until lunch at 12:30pm. i had wanton mee for lunch. then came 3:30pm. when it was time for another session of selling role play, i felt faint.
at first i thought it must have been my belt. (hahaha. i remembered once i was quarelling with keeliang, and i told him i felt like fainting. the cold war immediately subsided. keeliang though i was too agitated! then it turned out it was because my belt was too tight! he was tricked into hushing off the argument we had.) so naturally this time around, i thought that i must have had a full lunch! so i went to the washroom to "loosen my belt."
then i felt worse. i quickly went to the toilet bowl and out came my lunch. (shant go into the details of it)
i threw up thrice! went back, drank lots of hot water, and felt much better. (fat hope).
the sensation of faintness creeped back. i puked yet another time.
i gave up. told my mgr i had to go off. so i went to the other lobby to check into our parkway umbrella doctor. before i made it there, i puked again. 3 times! this time round, i was literally like a MERLION.
i felt so sick and bad. doctor said 3 other people had come to him that same afternoon because of food poisoning already.
conclusion: i must remember to say grace at all times~
